The original Blue Sapphire was a dewy floral, rosaceous and piquant with oud weather, sparkling lemon and marigolds, created in honour of the 65th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, blue sapphire being the celebratory gemstone.
Blue Sapphire Supercharged, is the pumped-up companion to Blue Sapphire, that perfume’s mix of oud, patchouli and amber, raspberry, rose, Indian jasmine, ylang-ylang and magnolia reflected in a new composition that echoes the original while offering something more layered and detailed. The addition of juicy orange makes a luscious zesty difference further enhanced by a whoosh of aldehydes fizzing softly throughout the scent.
The original’s herbaceous triptych of blue chamomile, sage and aldehydes has been tweaked with the addition of rum, basil, cinnamon and cardamom creating a more complex, sleeker composition.
